Was the ICD surgery ever considered at UT when he was not medically cleared?
Too bad it worked out that way. Seems like a good guy. Hope he stays healthy.
UT center Haris Charalambous died from a ruptured blood vessel in 2006. No doubt that tragedy influenced UT's decision.
There was another article I read (CBS Sports??) where Moss said that UT probably would never allow him to play because of Harris. They would not want to take that chance again, and I can't blame UT.
You can't blame UT on Moss. That type of tragedy is incredibly devastating and impactful for ever on those involved.

No way you can blame UT and I hope my post wasn't projecting any sort of blame. It's obvious Moss would not be able to play anywhere if he did not get that procedure and I was just curious if the procedure was ever considered by UT. It does not sound like it was, which I have no problem with.
He sure plays much larger than 6'7"
