Every way you slice it (most 4-stars, most 3-stars, average star rating), the MAC out-recruited the MWC, AAC, Sun Belt and C-USA. Minus Florida State and Clemson, the MAC kept right behind the rest of the ACC.

MAC - 2 four-star, 115 three-star, 2.38 average

Urm, check your facts. 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao
Miami (OH) you are so predictable.
First of all Scout is probably the worst site to use second American and MWC teams got several four star recruits.
Based on 247 Compostite Rankings (Use of Scout, Rivals, ESPN, 247 All averaged together)
Conference 4* 3*
American 2 122 (11 Schools)
C-USA 0 113 (13 Schools)
MAC 0 101 (13 Schools)
MWC 3 107 (12 Schools)
Sun Belt 0 77 (11 Schools)

By looking at that I would say:
1 American
2 Mountain West (More 4 stars but not nearly as many 3 stars)
3 Conference USA
4 MAC (Not Quite First)
5 Sun Belt
Past: AAC ranked #3 of 5 in 2014-2015 final official rankings behind MWC and CUSA

Future: AAC ranked #2 of 5 behind MAC in 2015 recruiting

AAC falling to middle of G5 pack despite having an initial advantage from Big East.

Don't let the Sun Belt pass you too - ouch.

Not sure about others but the MW has quite a few schools that had a small recruiting class. So some of the MW #'s are skewed.

Same for the American ECU only took 12 players.

Only time will tell. The AAC did not separate itself from the other conferences like I would have liked. The P5 advantage is starting to hurt even more. Only Boise upstaged the party this year. Marshall had a nice run, made some noise but didn't wreck the status quo.

I see W. Michigan had another good recruiting class. However, that hasn't translated to field.
Some 3* are better than others I guess.

Looks like some reality settling in for the AAC teams, but still decent.
This is some nice spin right here. MAC doesn't look so hot in almost any other metric service.

That is about how I would have expected it would go. Supports the theory of the American being the conference that is turned into the cream of the Cinderella crop.

lol....How quickly they forget. The MAC is 1-8 in bowl games over the last 2 years. The MAC isn't out recruiting anyone including the Sunbelt.

I have a lot of respect for Miami's football history, but there are several Sun Belt teams that would have slapped y'all around this year. There are no trophies for arbitrary recruiting rankings.

Plus 3 or 4 or how many his wife can figure out from the previous regime.

For those that are lost, google the UH signing day presser. Herman isn't a math guy.

https://rivals.yahoo.com/arkansasstate/f.../MIDAM/all
It's pretty clear that top 3 in MWC and ACC have the best classes..after that all the conference too 3 or 4 are pretty even
