This is as a thank you for turning down the same position with the Oakland Raiders.

04-jawdrop No one can say Louisville isn't trying to play with the big boys. I'm not sure I like where college football is going in general with this and I'm not really sure I want Pitt in this arms race but considering the current environment, it's good to see other ACC schools keeping up.

Not one reason Pitt can't do the same. Same goes for VT, Virginia and NCST.
It's time to step up. I have faith in y'all. 04-cheers
I'm starting to really like the Ivy League model.

Programs either have to be "all in" or drop down - anyone who gives a half-hearted effort will fail miserably.

I can see where this would bother those who link college education with college athletics. To me, the NCAA is primarily the level between high school and pro football, so I don't care if coaches earn more than college professors - just win, baby!
I think what Your seeing is money in the bank . He could very well be the next head coach in the unlikely event Bobby were to get some unreal offer to coach elsewhere and if not the program builds on it's past years successful run and Defense becomes one of the nations best going forward. The ACC is a formidable conference and will step up for these future challenges that are coming for the P5.
And so long as he stalks the sideline and UGAg has Pruitt courtesy of Louisville's ineptitude, I will always cheer against the Cards until and unless they play UGAg. Maybe WVU too.

What are your feelings towards Pruitt?

I prefer him anywhere other than Athens based on recruiting ability, even if he turns out to be the inept playcaller he has been thus far there.
I just can't get it out of my head that FSU would've been a better defensive team this season if Pruitt had stayed there. I know they lost a lot of players from the championship team, and maybe I'm wrong, but it keeps nagging at me...
Love me some Grantham, turning down the NFL for us is AWESOME!!!!04-cheers

...and anybody who has a problem with that.....03-nutkick
