Liberia is down to 5 cases ... this is the time frame that some projected 10,000 cases in Liberia, so it's good to know that didn't come to fruition. Guinea and Sierra Leone are still actively fighting Ebola, but seem to be making progress.

The soldiers (corps of engineers) that went to Liberia to build up medical infrastructure are back and out of quarantine.

And, the "ebola center" here in Dallas is closing without having seen anyone, to my knowledge.
All the ones with weak immune systems are either dead or they hid in a good spot. I'm glad it's dwindling though, if that news is accurate.

I don't think this exhausted itself by exposing itself to the majority of the population. I suspect the exposure rate was pretty limited. But, it also seems that early detection, hydration, and a decent immune system are among the keys to surviving this... in the end I don't know if anyone really knows at this point how much the existing treatments contributed to survival.
