Quote: It's silly to criticize Pastner for dancing after a win over Tulane. Or did you criticize the Grizzlies when they celebrated a too-close-to-call win over the Philadelphia 76ers earlier in the season? Last-second wins are cause for celebration, no matter the foe.

Left out this quote- 2. Having said that, yes, needing a late bucket to avoid a sweep by Tulane is more evidence about how far the program has fallen.
Can you post that link to the Grizzlies locker room celebration?

I wanna see how Joerger dances.

Ask Calkins, he wrote the article.

One thing I've noticed about this latest condemnation of the celebration is that it has separated those who have one simple-minded goal from those who still support the Tigers.
touchy touchy

"Haters"

no, I don't think Geoff was referring to whatever you want them to be as "Haters"

I did not see that word in the article. Link, please?

awesome
lol. Tell me again why this spontaneous show of the players' joy is so upsetting? If you don't wanna see Austin's shot go in or Avery's happy run to the locker room, then hop to :50

Geoff never used that term. You did.

Fire Pastner now, LOL
No kidding. He can't dance for ****. 04-rock
Fans can be frustrated and even angry with this season but none of us are actually coaching or playing the game in that it's an entirely different set of emotions and feeling going on with them compared to us just watching it. Let the guys celebrate.
Jesus, they won a game. You ******* will complain about anything at this point.

Simple minded goals are much easier on simple minds. Don't want to overheat.

Look, folks were happy for the win when Keldrick Bradford hit the halfcourt shot against UNCC - didn't mean it wasn't a crappy season and the program wasn't in a downward spiral.

The Tulane dance party commentary was more of a look how far the program has fallen commentary from most, which is the bigger point that some want to snidely sweep aside.

Situations aren't always either/or.

You can be happy, well relieved at least, that they beat Tulane while still understanding that a locker room celebration after beating Tulane is a bigger sign of the times.
