The Dukes go on the road to play the CAA's #1 team. This will probably be a character building game where Brady can figure out what works and keep it in his back pocket until tournament time.
Northeastern is better offensively and they are a little bigger in the frontcourt. The Dukes are supposed to lose so any semblance of a competitive game would be encouraging.

JMU 60
Northeastern 70
Northeastern is too much for the Dukes on the boards. By the second half, the Dukes zone starts to collapse inside to compensate and Northeastern starts raining 3s. I'm not feeling this one on the road.

NE: 72
JMU: 57
Northeastern just lost at home on Monday in the CAA's final OOC game of the year to Detroit in OT. Previously they have lost in conference to UNCW at home. I don't think they have much of a home court advantage where they play and their team does lack some depth. The last few years this game has been close and I expect this year to be no different. They are the best team in conference in terms of RPI so a win by the Dukes would be a nice one to get although I think when it's all said and done W&M will be the best team in conference and the toughest out in the CAA tournament.
When I last looked I thought W&M's rpi was a bit better than NE. Both are in the top 100 - something like 82 and 90 at the real time site.
Dukes surprise Northeastern as the team is re-energized after the departure of Nation.

Dukes 72
Huskies 67
The Dukes make it three in a row.

JMU - 65

NE - 62
What's the story on Hall? Is he back for this one. The little I have been able to watch I thought he was a bright spot, could help us with depth.

According to the Shot Doctor at his weekly presser, Hall was back at practice. So should be in the lineup tonight.
Dukes find a way on the road.

My bad. Thursday night.
JMU going AT Northeastern, the #1 team in the CAA, is going to be a challenge. While the game will be somewhat close, the Dukes are going to come up just short.

Northeastern 65
JMU 58
Any TV for this game?
70-58 Northeastern
Play 'tough' tonight (rebound and get points in the paint) and make FTs and I like JMU's chances tonight.

JMU 62
NE 59
So the blue Chickens beat Wmgt after being doubled up in the first half. This league makes no sense. Anything can happen on any given night, Ud is 4-14 on the season, and 3-4 CAA...=Wiiiiiiiiide open.

So I'll take the Dukes on the roadie (surprised aren't you?), we return the favor.
