The NFL is investigating whether the footballs used by NE Pats were underinflated.

Apparently, each team provides their own balls. Why doesn't the NFL control this and be the one to issue the balls for all playoff teams?

Help me remember, wasn't there a BGSU or Marshall QB who had a similar complaint after the Rockets beat them?
Even with soft footballs..... The Colts got slaughtered. No excuse can bail them out of the beating they got.
I think Omar Jacobs complained about over inflated balls after a loss to UT one year.
Coulda played with nerf balls and it wouldn't have mattered.
I think Omar complained that we put helium in the balls.

That was his excuse for throwing so many floaters. 03-lmfao
Weird that Brady likes his balls under-inflated but Aaron Rodgers actually likes them over-inflated. Every guy has a different style I guess. But if I was providing my own balls, they'd have stickem when my team was on offense. Why isn't there more tampering if it's totally up to each team with the ball?

It will be interesting watching your QB pass the ball. Kind of like the old Globetrotter's trick.

There would be a mist of stickum between QB and receiver through which the ball would pass. Yeah, otherwise QBs would look like Chuck Knoblock trying to throw to first base.

That guy had one helluva mental block with that throw. Glad it was mostly when he was Yankee.
