This video stops a few seconds before the officer is shot. It is important to show, to show how little time there is between dealing with the type of situation cops deal with every day and a sudden deadly threat.

Stewart knocked on the door of a residence Dec. 27 and walked outside with Robert Smith, 28, a suspect in a domestic violence call. Stewart and Smith were seen on the clip calmly chatting; Smith didn’t appear agitated, even smiling a few times.

I mean, he probably had it coming since he was racial profiling that black guy in the video.... wait... you mean to tell me that police also stop Caucasians????

Awful and tragic. Split seconds count in a policeman dying or living. Of course Holdrr, Obama and Al could care less. As was mentioned, the board Libs enjoyed this post. What they want are dead cops.
Cop was too nice and tired to do the right thing and the thug wins.
I think the cam's will start to show actions by the police including fatal shootings are justified more often than not. I said it before the stuff that is seen as a result of the cams ain't going to make those who like blaming cops happy.

The problem with your logic is that you're implying this cop knew the guy was armed. He didn't. He was caught completely by surprise and lost his life. That's the point. It's rare for law enforcement officers to know when or how their life is about to be put in serious jeopardy.

Not what I was saying at all. I was merely pointing out the fact that you can't play monday morning QB when they're not armed and say, "The cop should have known better."
It's not that black and white. There's a crap ton of gray area there.
