For example, illegal immigrants suspected of terrorism or espionage or other felonies are top priorities for deportation. But illegal immigrants who are convicted of three or more misdemeanors, or one “significant” misdemeanor such as sexual abuse or domestic violence, are on a second tier priority for deportation.

On Wednesday, House Republicans put forward the DeSantis amendment to prioritize the deportation of illegal immigrants convicted of domestic violence, sexual abuse or child abuse. But they were met by significant Democratic opposition, including from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who is widely seen as a champion of women’s issues.

They voted against it because it would upend both the President’s most recent executive action as well as his measure from 2012, which they say could prevent immigration officials from going after criminal immigrants.

The Conference of Catholic Bishops were also against the amendments.

Lastly, you need to drop the bull**** meme about voting. Illegal immigrants are not allowed to vote. No "influx" of illegal immigrants is going to assure Democrats get elected. If you want to continue to post your bull****, perhaps you should do it in the WWE room?

Without a Voter ID, there's a risk that they can vote. I don't know about you, but I'd rather just eliminate that thing altogether and make everyone show an ID. Even if it worked in favor of my party.

Plus, like Steve said, there are lots of things that people can't do legally, but still do.

Yes Steve, some illegal votes get cast. They get cast every year...for Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike.

But they don't get cast in enough of a number to sway elections according to study after study.

So, you have to make a choice...do you spend wads of cash and risk disenfranchising legitimate voters...or do you continue with procedures we have in place now that truthfully aren't that bad. Most illegal voters are caught.

As I've said ad nauseum, I'm for Voter ID as long as it's totally free to the end voter and doesn't disenfranchise voters.

Hence the push to "normalize" these illegals already here. And if I recall correctly (I usually do), they are voting in certain areas for things like school board etc. Once the camels nose is under the tent...

Yes, and ironically they call this regressive action, "progress."

But it's times like this when I think to myself, "You know, if I was ****** off in the head too, I'd call it progress as well."

Besides a lot of bad parenting and 18 hour stints of playing online video games in the basement, I don't really know what else to blame. I know that alcohol slows the maturity process down too.
