Here are the games for Saturday:

Troy (1-2) at Ga. State (2-2)
Ga. Southern (2-1) at South Alabama (2-2)
ULM (2-1) at Texas St. (3-1)
App. St. (1-2) at ULAR (0-4)
Ark. St. (1-3) at Texas Arlington (2-2)

Bye: Louisiana (4-0)
Why isn't the Sun Belt getting more BB games on ESPN3? I see Big South, Atlantic Sun, SoCon games on Saturday but no Sun Belt games. We had lots of FB games on.

Karl didnt set this one up. That falls on Wright Waters, who never understood the value of basketball when he set up the last TV contract.

Instead, we get 5 or 6 ESPN3 games and two ESPN2 games. That's it.

ESPN3 SBC games start next week (Sat., Sept. 17) with Texas State @ Arkansas State, both men's and women's games. Men and women games follow each week and includes tournament games. Check the SBC website.

Actually.... hard working, ever-devoted Krazy Karl, negotiated an "expansion" with ESPN3 last July for a whopping additional 50 total SBC events including Women's Soccer, Men's Soccer, and Volleyball Championships and ALSO including a handful of Mens' and Women's basketball. Nice move Karl!

We didn't exactly have a ton of bargaining power, our 2nd tier rights network went off the air. It was ESPN3 or nothing at all.

That is why it is very important for each member school to have a second deal, or production capability to get additional events picked up by ESPN3, or aired regionally.

UL is currently working on a huge deal with CST, that hopefully will come to fruition soon.

Shame on Karl and the Belt presidents for being in the situation, and not having the foresight to address this.

And anyone wonder why the SBC is the lowest tier, we have no where else to go but Rise ..... yuck.
Troy women win over GSU 96-87 for 3rd straight win...

Troy women are now 8-5

3-1 in SBC

There were like 2 or 3 teeny bopper movie from the 90's on local TV here in Atlanta. One SEC basketball game. Just ridiculously that some SBC games cannot be shown.

And yes our men's team suck lol. But we did take GSU down to the wire. Lead a lot of the way.
37 for RJ. Hopefully his stroke is back for the remainder

Yeah, great to see him back to form. Troy's team played well and have good shooters. Harrow didn't play because of an injury. But, glad we got the win.

We should be better next year... We are so young this year (2seniors) and we have some injuries

Our women's team on the other hand gets better every year since Coach Rigby has arrived... They are a contender this year.
These USA basketball announcers are absolutely terrible. Whining because they're "not getting calls on their home court" and calling our players "feminine"
ASU's women lead UTA 42-29 at half. We need a limbo cam like the Mavericks have.
