I hope UMass is on a weekend. I'd like to take a trip to Boston.
I hope UMASS is in sept so I can cross Fenway park off the list...
When is Umass out?

UMass is out this year, but is obligated to finish out it's football contracts with MAC schools.
Out this year as in after the season? So this year it is still an east cross over game.

It's screwy..... but isn't everything associated with the MAC.....
Is the conference championship game scheduled yet?
According to this site, which lists college games on TV, the 2015 MAC championship is scheduled for Saturday, December 5th. Here's the link.

And while the fact that UMass is leaving the MAC after the 2015 season has been mentioned, here's a link to a story (from March 2014) about the decision. FWIW.

A saturday championship game? Wow. Would be great after years of the Friday night one. Not that we've had to worry about it for over 10 years though.

please please please let UMass be the mac opener so baseball is still going.
after further investigation, the only possible way we will be able to combo a Red Sox game is if they make the playoffs
Is Umass still splitting the home games between Hadley and Gillette Stadium in 2015? If so, which one will it be at? Hadley is an hour at least away from Boston. Gillette is 20 Miles south of Boston halfway to Providence.

Yep, still splitting. Not known at this time what games will be where.

Yep, still splitting. Now known at this tone what games will be where.

Gotta love auto-correct.

Well, we split our games between Amherst and Gillette. And Amherst is more like 1 1/2 hours from Boston, if traffic isn't bad on the Pike.

No idea which games are where yet.
An ESPN.com writer has released his "way-too-early top 25" for 2015. 04-jawdrop

While I think it's ridiculous to be ranking teams this early, it is something to talk about. Which is probably why it's done.

One team on UT's 2015 schedule is ranked. Arkansas is 21st in this ranking.

http://espn.go.com/college-football/stor...5-rankings
Arkansas returns 10 offensive starters. That's going to be tough to slow down.

Good luck getting a ticket for a playoff game in Boston- unless you are willing to shell out some bucks. Went to a Red Sox-Yankees series in 2005 - the year after they ended the 86 year drought, and could not get any ticket for under $85 (10 years ago - and not a playoff game). There was also a scalper who was working with the ticket taker at the gate. You gave him the money, walked across the street after a hand signal was given, and the guy at the gate would act like he took your ticket - and you were in.
Id be willing to pay whatever price for a playoff game there
