Because of the weather, the University of Cincinnati basketball team is having a difficult time getting to Philadelphia for Wednesday night
I hope they realized there are things called buses..

It's an 11 hour drive in a car going well over the speed limit without bad weather.

With the weather that's hitting the OH and PA areas I seriously doubt they're going to consider putting those guys on a bus.

Yea... take a bus.... 01-wingedeagle
A fleet of H1 Hummers will get them there.
No, do not make the trip. I need more time to contemplate my game prediction.

Mr Happy

I'm really surprised they waited 'til this morning. That was stupid.

No way they'll make it now.

Maybe this is their way of forfeiting? lmfao
Would have made sense just to have stayed up East on Sunday. So they basically came back here for one day of classes and ended up missing classes on Tuesday trying to get up to Nova early in the day. They miss class during other road trips and can take academic folks with them for study hall, etc. Woulda made sense to do that this time.

Yeah but if that were to happen.. people would complain due to their "preferrential treatment"..
Someone might want to predict 1-0 just in case

Tell em to stay home and we'll call it a draw.

We are now 10-14 and 1.

That's a straight drive with no stops and not figuring in traffic on the PA turnpike. Made that trip too many times to go by mapquest or any other travel site. The PA turnpike might be the worst road system ever created.

Ewww. I hate the 1-70 thru Pennslyvania. Though driving through a tunnel under the Allegheny Mnts. for a mile was sweet. But no, the Kansas turnpike is the worst road system ever. Pennslyvania's is tame compared to that (it was pointless IMO), but upstate is the worst. So damn much money. Did it twice last summer. Only bummer on the trips. Don't mind paying the money as much as sitting in traffic.

I agree about the turnpike. It was supposed to be "free" after they made enough to pay what it cost to make it. That was in 1966, I think. I have driven on that bugger and hit pot holes big enough to lose a VW Beetle. Absolute worst road in America and you have to pay outrageous sums.

The worst part about it is the fact that miles of it always seem to be under repair and down to one lane. Then once you get out of the construction areas and try to make up some time they have those damn planes clocking you from above.

I think Route 8 from the Kuwait border to Baghdad was the worst I was on...come to think of it...Colerain Ave with the consistent construction takes a close second...maybe a tie...
