Think we need EMU fans with Twitter accounts to Tweet it and see if we can get it beyond the bounds of known EMU basketball fans.

I've tried things like Bankhoops (Steve Bell's work), Freep sports, even EA's AAU team (they follow him), etc.

Maybe other Twitter sites like LSJ, Detnews, MAC, etc. Hope HuronDave can get it out there too.

Sites basically followed by college sports fans in MI and the Midwest.
I shot him a tweet thanking him for the article. I love getting a detailed look at this team. Hopefully he has more articles like this in the future.

I did too.

I wish I had a Twitter site which the most EMU students accessed. Need to reach the students. We need their turnout tomorrow.
I thanked him too, if only the official EMU Athletics page would post and share his articles.
I got the EMU Athletics page to tweet it out, trying to get it on Facebook as well, asked President Martin to share it as well haha.
Now that's how you do outreach! Well done.

It's so nice to get information like this about our team. Hopefully this, and future articles from Michael, can help to drum up a little more interest from the people in the area. We have a good team. They deserve more than 800 fans at home games.
nice fellas. i've posted it on FB and emailed it to friends.
I realize it is cold (actually cold throughout much of the country) but I wonder what kind of crowd will show tomorrow?

The team is winning and heaven knows we are trying to pump up the excitement around this team.
These are my Twitter stats (or metrics) for the past week.

I believe 1/2 of the link visits were for the Martez Walker transfer to Oakland the other 1/2 the Mlive story.

Think I got a lot of the views for Tweets on Steve Bell's Bankhoops about EMU and MAC hoops.

" These Tweets helped you make connections, got people excited, and started your friends talking.

The goal is to get something re-tweeted by someone who has thousands of followers, e.g., a Jay Bilas, or someone else big in college hoops. This is how a story spreads beyond a close, and closed, circle.
