Great bowl win for UT but it's never to early to speculate on next years OL depth chart given that we lose all 5 starters!

LT: Norton Jr
Henry Jr
LG: Kassem Jr
Jeppessen (based on a fully healed knee) So
Perchinske Sr
C: Nkansah So
Jeppesen So
RG: Perschon Jr
Cotterman true Fr
RT: Bell true Fr
Riese (transfer from Wyoming) so
Bill Weber should figure in.
Ebert as well.

after watching Nordonia several times this year and seeing Cameron Bell, if he starts there maybe some issues with line depth and quality as he really needs at least 1 year in a college S&C program. Cameron is large and moves well for HS, but needs to lose some body fat and gain some strength and muscle. His foot work also needs some help to keep up with the speed rushers he'll see in college.
Thanks for your comments guys.....I agree that Weber and Wbert may well factor in the mix. Ebert is a true beast. I like Weber but I think his conditioning is suspect. It is certainly wide open for spots!

If at LT the Henry you're talking about is James Henry, well he transferred. So if there aren't any more left tackles behind Norton, we could see true freshman Ramone Miles as the backup. He played LT in high school. Although, I'd probably like to see him get a redshirt year in. I usually like to see all our frosh OL redshirt, but we're gonna need some next year.
Starters:
LT Norton
LG Ebert
C Nkansah
RG Weber
RT Perschon
We've had some good fresh OL guys over the years. Don't we have at least one JC transfer coming in?
The transfer is Riese from Wyoming and Kassem is the JC recruit.

I did not know that Henry transferred. He mangled his ankle in August and was on crutches all summer. Sorry to hear he is gone.

Riese 6-7,295
Kassem 6-4,320
This is the big and I do mean big question mark for next season.

UTCharger73 and I were sitting behind the bench at the bowl game, scanning the sideline, trying to put together a starting 5.

It will be an important winter of off season S&C for a lot of these guys, Spring Ball will be real important too.

If Henry has transferred that is too bad. Whatever happened to Boston Mathews?

Just looked up Riese on Twitter and he lists that he's at Minnesota State now...wonder what happened there?

There was a post somewhere talking about some mid-year and transfers (4-5) being on campus this semester. I know about Chris Green and the Juco O-Lineman...any ideas as to who the others could be? Didn't we get a WR who transferred in from Wisconsin this summer? I believe the ILB (can't recall his name) from last years class out of Tampa is in school as well?
@ConnorRiese79
Officially done at Toledo and couldn't be happier. On to the next one #mavfam

That was from 12/18...well, at least he won't be around to host recruiting visits...must not have gone well for him.

Boston Matthews was hurt and left.

O line depth has to be a real concern. If I'm looking at the roster correctly, we have 8 offensive linemen in the freshman, sophomore and junior classes.

The current freshman class hurt because we only signed two. We only signed four in the sophomore class, and two left. At least we signed five in the junior class.

The current recruiting class has six offensive linemen. Maybe it's been tough to bring in good OL's because this senior class was good from the get-go and recruits didn't see playing time. Anyway, the incoming recruits had better be good, because some are probably going to have to play right away.
This line will be missed but Toledo seems to be able to put together a good line most years. The transfer and jc tells me they were looking for some experience to anchor the rebuild next year. We will also need a good blocking fullback who can get after defensive ends and outside linebackers for our heavy package.
College football OL is a big deal.
Phil Steel equates returning starting OL to winning. You had the best OL in the MAC this year and it should have been yours for the taking. One QB injury was not enough to sink you, but 2,3 damn and then it was 3 points. Need OL; losing 2 to NFL not good.
Hunt will earn every yard he gets next year. Thank goodness Hunt is the best back in UT history.
