gonna be a good one.
They have their work cut out for them...Detroit gave them all they ever wanted.
Go Pack Go!
the first time Dallas plays at Lambeau in the PLAYOFFS since the Ice Bowl
they will have to play better than they did tonight. They have their work cut out for them for sure. The one positive I have going into the game, is that they are 8-0 on the road this year.

A lot of folks will point to that picked up pass interference flag in this game...to which I would point out the Detroit player pushing off on the Dallas defender's facemask.
The Cowboys have a tough road to get to the SB.

Green Bay is ranked 23rd against the run. Dallas like 26 against the pass.
Dallas has to be able to run the ball and eat clock to win this one.
They'll worry about Seattle later.

It's going to be cold in GB.
Should be a great game to watch
Cowboys are ready:

The Lion's receiver committed offensive pass interference before the defender committed defensive pass interference.
Besides, Suh shouldn't have even been allowed to play in that game for what he did to Aaron Rodgers.
It isn't Dallas' fault that Detroit couldn't hold on to a 14 then a 10 point lead.
The Dallas defense only allowed 3 points after halftime.
If that call/no call was against the Cowboys, I'd be upset about it. It was one of those that should have either been flagged and assessed or not flagged at all. Still, the Lions had plenty of chances to win the game. The officials didn't make Caldwell decide to punt on 4th down in the 4th quarter, and they didn't make the punter kick it ten yards. The Cowboys were very fortunate that the fumble by Demarcus Lawrence didn't lose the game. In recent years (like the last twenty), I've been reconciling one small play or two in games that the Cowboys lost. For once, it's nice to get a couple of those breaks and win one. The Packers matchup is a scary one for the Cowboys, for sure. They will have to play very disciplined and mistake free football to win.

I think you are misinterpreting what we saw Sunday.

Detroit's defense matched-up up better with Dallas offense better than anyone in the NFL. They have the biggest, nastiest D line in football and they played with incredible passion after getting embarrassed by the packers 2 weeks ago.

Dallas truly got Detroit's best shot. They are talented and came out on fire playing with a lot of pride.

The Packers are really good but its more about containing Aaron Rogers enough to win in this one.

I have a feeling this could be a very high scoring game.

We need to run the ball and dominate the line of scrimmage to keep the Rodgers on the sidelines as long as possible.

This

I hate those calls anyway. It should not be a penalty at all imo.

Just not enough contact and its not like the defensive player is doing something wrong when he is standing in the spot the QB is throwing to. The fact that his back was turned should not matter in that situation.

The cowboys style of play should help nullify the temps.

They are right at home keeping it on the ground playing smash mouth.
I know he has protected the ball well lately, but the way Demarco carries the football makes me cringe. He must have a really strong right hand.
I just think it's hilarious you guys think you actually have a shot in Lambeau. There are only two real contenders in the NFC. Unfortunately, we have to wait two more weeks to see it.

One official said it should have been considered 'face guarding' which is illegal in college football...but legal in pro football.

Dallas already took down 1 of those 2 at their place. No reason to think they cant beat the other.

Ultimately, I do think GB will probably win this week, but this is the beginning of another good run for Dallas. They're the 2nd youngest team in the NFL, have the best young offensive line in football, and all pro's at the skill positions. The D still needs work and that will get addressed this offseason. Lots of Dallas haters going to be very annoyed the next few seasons......................... and I love it!

Actually Green Bay IS a favorable matchup for Dallas.
While it is true that Dallas' defense is susceptible to pass, Green Bay is EQUALLY weak against the run...ranking 23rd against the run.
What is it that Dallas excelled at this season? Oh yeah...the run. 8-)

Running the ball will help Dallas chew the clock...they led the league in time of possession at over 32 minutes a game. It will also help keep Aaron Rodgers off of the field.
With little time of possession, Green Bay will have to pass to stay in the game...allowing Dallas to tee off on their receivers.

It won't be a blowout for either side (hopefully)...and will be the game to watch in the NFC.
I dare say....the winner will beat Seattle and go to the Super Bowl.

I suppose it's a pessimist / optimist thing.

Maybe the game clinching strip sack will be the thing that turns Demarcus into a 2015 playoff show pony. I'd love to see him hounding Rodgers like that a few times Sunday.
