Syracuse women's bb has a history of sucking. Still, I think Coach Q is the coach that can take them from sucking to being respectable over the next 5 years, though I doubt they will ever be a national power like UConn, Tennessee or the better ACC squads.

Cheers,
Neil
Syracuse coach look like he was ready to kill somebody last night.

That man looked pissed.
sandman and l yes, were you guys there or did you watch it on tv????

At one point the SU coach was talking smack to the UL fans sitting behind them saying "we're about to make our run" and such when we were up 25 or so. The fans just said back "go ahead, we'll just bring angel back in." LOL

I watch it on TV.

It was a fun game to watch (And this coming from someone that dosn't like watching women's Basketball).
Our men
Will this game be on TV?

If so, I'll be watching.
No television, but you can listen to them on WKRD 790 as Jim Kelch and Adrienne Johnson call the action. AJ is a former Olympian and WNBA player who also currently works in the UofL athletics dept.
I thought that perhaps some of the posts in this thread were exaggerating a bit, but know I have to think that the Syracuse women's coach went very near to crossing over a major line. One could say he did cross a line with his actions.

First, getting really involved with opposing fans is pushing it, but not unheard of by any means. However, here's a direct cut and paste from the UofL Rivals board. It's from someone who is among the most dedicated women's fans and has been attending games for a long time.

Quote:Five in double figures, and a near punch out after the game from Syracuse head coach Quentin Hillsman, who got up in Tom Collen's face during the post game hand shakes, shook a finger in his face, and appeared to say
"Don't ever pull that kind of $#!* on me again.."

It may be hard to find but I'd love to see some footage of the end of the game. Loosk like Hillsman's behavior is pushing it I'd say.
