$8 for a GA & $13 for reserved
I'll be a game time decision. I'll be moving on the 1st & 2nd. Depends on how smoothly everything goes.
I may take Little Man. Could be a fun boys night out.
How does the uproar over ending UAB football compare to attempted ending UAH hockey? I know it might not be a perfect comparison since the board might be willing to take a lot more heat to end UAB. It seems the public uproar over UAB is pretty intense, in large part thanks to Watts general mismanagement of UAB. But, how does it compare to the UAH situation.

There was less of an uproar about UAH hockey being shutdown due to the fact that UAH hockey was struggling because they got left out during conference realignment. However, there was enough of an uproar to get the community to unite and save the program. UAH hockey is on the verge of being great once again.

Perhaps we will see the same things said about UAB football in 2015 - and beyond.

I live up in Huntsville and went to UAH as well. My understanding is there was really one big donor who saved the program.

The issue with UAH was they had no conference. They are one of the only d1 teams in this part of the country, and it was really tough to get teams down here. That program was a train wreck because of all of these things. It was a much different situation than the one UAB football was in. I'm glad to see so many people are attending the game, but I really don't understand why the green is being worn. UAH didn't do anything to us.

Ordered tickets from Ticket Master. Section 221 is behind the UAH team. Got three in that section. Informal motorcade leaves UAB practice field between 4:00 - 4:30.
Section 221 row D seats 11-13

The only reason for wearing green is so that the UAB people will stand out from the rest of the crowd. It's nothing against UAH at all, just a way of letting everybody know how many UAB fans came to the game.
FYI, I got a UAH hockey jersey for Christmas to replace the one that I got for Christmas in 1996. My old UAH hockey jersey was hanging in the closet at my grandmother's house in Baileyton and her house was completely destroyed by the tornado that went from Cullman to Arab on April 27th, 2011. Fortunately my grandmother survived!

I will be wearing my new UAH hockey jersey to the UAH game on Jan. 17th, but this Friday I will be wearing a UAB football jersey, just to make a statement that UAB fans care about UAH hockey, too.
Attalla, I just got 7 tickets in the row in front of you!

See you tomorrow night!
221 Row B seats 1-3
7 of us in my group. I think we are across the rink from the UAH bench.
Three of us.
