Anyone know if we've got special unis/helmets for the game? In one of Malcolm's travel blog videos, I saw a table decoration that had a white helmet with an Owl on the side surrounded by a lei. Thought they looked pretty cool and as much as I like the "classic" approach to our regular season garb, I think it would be nice for us to get an alternate helmet/uni for the bowl game.

Ha, touché good sir. Although, I will say that I hated the helmets we wore last season even before the kickoff...would have much rather preferred a revival of an older uniform to an imitation of Oregon's fashion show. I just think it would be nice to have something different for a bowl game each year, especially for a bowl game which is being played in a state that has a very distinct culture compared to the other 49.

How about the OER with plumeria or hibiscus blooms where the white normally is similar to the way they sometimes use camo or the U.S. flag.

I don't mind variations on our theme. I just don't like going to something that's not who Rice is today.

The pink or flag OER are nice touches to an already classy uniform.

Fresno wearing chrome helmets. Not red chrome, but chrome.

Rice going very traditional. Regular blue helmets with white r... nominally special blue jerseys and white pants.

At least it reinforces our brand, I guess.
