Exactly...Reminds me of an episode of "Sanford & Son" where Fred confronted a prowler in his junk yard, asking out loud who are you and what are you doing there? The prowler (whose face I don't recall ever seeing in that episode, by the way) said in a snarky, smart-a**ed tone of voice.."You don't know, & you don't wanna know!"
Another episode Fred said "We were robbed". The cop said, "Were they colored?" Fred said "Yea, white".

I'm not sure that I entirely trust "under oath" either, not of the big fish anyhow. What made the Watergate Hearings work wasn't the testimony of the principals, it was the testimony of guys down the food chain, principally John Dean. Still, it really wasn't that, it was the cover up that cooked Nixon.

So lets hope that these bozos were as much in scramble mode on that as they were on the rest of this plot, because that's where we'll hang them or they'll beat the rap.
