I mentioned the other day after a loss, that there was absolutely no posts on the board the night of the loss, and the following day. Now, following a win to break a four game losing streak, about the only talk concerning the game is basically Doc. I realize that not many saw the game, but normally many would be listening to the radio broadcast of the game, and cussing and discussing afterwards or at least the next day. There never has been many of us here, but we kept it fairly busy after wins and losses.

I don't believe MEMS is going to get here soon enough to save you. Kinda like an alcoholic, you kept on ingesting that same old boring coaching for way too many years. It finally did you in. Now you've only got a handful of fans left to attend your funeral. RIP Trojan basketball, I wish you'd listened to some of us several years ago.

Don't give up yet. We had a pretty lively group in Vegas. Of course half of them were James Reid's family, but we had fun. He had his parents, grandparents, at least one sister and they're all very nice folks. I think Mariek's uncle was there. Anyway, it was a nice experience. That hotel and casino where the arena is located is amazing. It's like a city unto itself. Arena, movie theater, bowling alley, a number of eating establishments. It's huge. I will say we're playing a little looser on offense and hard on defense. I don't know how well we'll do this year overall, but I believe it's a more fun team to watch. At least at this point, the three point shooters are looking to shoot, and Steve seems to be allowing them to do so. We're still playing more up tempo, but not run and gun. More run and execute.
Hope to see you at the games soon. My grandson is home from college for the holidays, so I might not have any extra tickets until he returns. Anyway, have a healthy and happy Christmas and: New Year.04-cheers04-cheers04-cheers

I certainly didn't want to give up, but as poorly as the program has done over the last twenty years or so, I had to holler "uncle." I gave'em plenty of warning. This hasn't been that I just jumped one day this year, and said I'm quitting. But if we get a coaching change I'll be back next year. If not I won't.

If you could get all those "Las Vegas" kinfolks to the games in LR, we could break a thousand.
Bob, feel the same way. I figured we would hear move about it but nothing...
I have not tuned in to a single TV or internet broadcast and haven't attended games this year. I don't check this board every day and I'm a co-founder and moderator. What does that tell you.

What's worse is that my new hometown NBA team is struggling with injuries and Fish has a bad situation in NYC. I've just not been engaged in this basketball season at all. New job, new house, new town does not help either.

Please keep it going. It can only get better from here...I hope.
Robert, I feel you. We need a couple of new posters that have some passion to pick it up and run with it. Mitchell b could be the 1st of them.
Haven't seen much of Evan on here lately. Priorities.

Haven't seen much of Pappy here in the last few days either. This is one of the times I didn't want to be right with my predictions of the programs demise. But, it wasn't like you had to be a rocket scientist to figure it out. All you had to do was just look around the Jack at all the empty seats. If there is not a coaching change at the end of this season, Doc and a few others will be the only ones there next season.

I'm still around, but I'm finding removing myself from the program a bit does wonders for my blood pressure. I'll always be a Trojan fan. I can't help it. My favorite teams pick me. I can't drop one and go to another. But forcing myself to care a little less has been wonderful.
