Not trying to be political, but when the PSC members run a campaign on "Opposing Obama," things like this tend to happen.
Then there is the whole Dunn debacle, who had private detectives following him because he wanted a formal rate review hearing for Alabama Power.

The PSC and Alabama Power are loving Obama being president... they can raise rates and blame it on Obama and the public will go along with it. Sadly, the majority of Alabamians are the same in regards to the UABOT... because it has University of Alabama in front of it, they support every decision made. Oh Alabama.

What Alabama Power loves is announcing a rate increase and having the so-called oversight committee simply announce the increased rates as an established fact because the company asked for it.
