In every bowl pre-game, halftime, and post-game show, ESPN and ABC will be promoting/discussing the playoff matchups. They'll be doing this over and over and over.

I'm already sick of it.

Return investment at its best... And not tuning in is also a close friend.
they bought college football, they can do with it whatever they want.
Won't even watch...

Any bowls or the playoffs? I haven't watched a national championship game in years and don't plan on watching the playoffs. I don't have any illusions that I'm making a difference but if they don't want my team/conference involved then they can forget about my viewership as well.

I would too if I was ESPN....it's the crown jewel of the post season. I'm sure the number of airs for this playoff was also part of the advertising package for the sponsors. I mean, surely you get it right?
If I invest in something I promote it. That's why I sell Amway to my friends.

You just simultaneously gained and lost points in my book. In case you are wondering you are currently sitting and 387.5 points. I can break it down for you if you want.

It's nauseating. I was going to watch all of the bowls, but not anymore.

Pretty much any bowls outside of aac games. You can see the aac is getting shut out of major college football. I'm already annoyed that I have to pay for all these conference channels even though I don't watch them. I'm annoyed the aac won the national title in both men's and women's basketball and destroyed the big 12 champ in the Fiesta bowl and we are still classified with c-usa, mac, and sunbelt.
4 teams does not make a playoff.

Dude, why are you watching Espin unless they are showing an AAC product? We all as g-5 fans need to turn away from the great satan that is ESPN, and it's progeny the p-5. As fans of deserving g-5 teams words are not necessary, action is. Let's let our choices be our words. Don't purchase any products that endorse p-5 products, and purchase products that endorse g-5 products. Will it have any effect on inclusion for deserving g-5 teams, will it be the catalyst that requires clear criterion, who knows? The real angst should be directed at Espin and the other networks that are creating the great divide by perpetuating the myth of a dividing line between wake Forrest, Washington state et al.... And UCF, UConn et al. Lobbying efforts should be directed to the networks, however, their decisions are based upon "eyeballs" on the product which in turn translates into a quantifiable dollar amount. Consume the AAC product, and spit the P-5 product out like it was a cup of Jim Jones cool-aid.

With 10 conferences, 8 teams doesn't either.
It's overkill but it's their product and they are going to reap the rewards.
