I have no idea what it is -- other than a clothing store -- but H&M is coming to town.

Report: H&M becomes next retailer headed to Memphis

Quote:H&M has signed a lease with the Carriage Crossing shopping center in Collierville. There were no details regarding a possible opening date for the new store.
Cheap, high-quality clothes. The Ikea of clothing stores.
my wife is thrilled. my wallet is not.

She loves shopping there. Every vacation, if there's one in that town, she stocks up on clothes. They are definitely good prices though.
H&M has women's, men's, and kids' clothes for great prices, but decent quality. It's not high-end, but if you want to pick up some trendy items you don't want to invest in, it's great.

All I need is a Trader Joe's announcement by tomorrow & we'll hit the retail trifecta in one week....that one is particularly concerning to my husband because one of the locations they're eyeing is across the street from his office.
Trader Joe's is moving to the old Borders at Poplar and Kirby...worst kept secret in town ;-)

I'm glad City Market (downtown) is buying and renovating the Cooper-Young 'Midtown Market'

They will make that location nice:
Ahhh and it's in Collierville! ;o)

With City Market (still have never checked out the downtown location, though I hear good things), Easy Way, a couple of the top farmers markets in the nation, and the urban "farming" movement spreading among schools and inner city communities, there is no reason to not eat healthy and well in Memphis!
H&M always seemed like a Swedish Old Navy...
