I am grateful to the American Conference for working out such a good deal with ESPN for the visibility. No doubt the uniform combos are in direct relation to recruiting and TV

I have yet to understand how baby blue and white (as worn by Fuente in the photo) is better for recruiting than dark royal blue and medium gray.

Agree. The dark royal looks more "big time", IMO.

Option 1:
10 different shades of blue, including baby blue, white, black and all sorts of other colours, AND inclusion in the Big 12

Or

Option 2:
Only the proper shades of blue and gray and we stay in the AAC forever.

If it came down to it (I know it won't); which would you choose?
I attended two games this year and watched every other one on TV in North Carolina.

This! The American has provided us with an outstanding platform - I think we were on national TV what, 9 or 10 times this year? Plus another one Monday!!!

Go Tigers!

GA, maybe that is part of your problem with colors. It's not the colors, it's your ability to recognize the color.

That sure as hell isn't "baby blue." If that is what you see as baby blue, then you are likely quite a few shades off on what YOU think "Tiger" blue is vs. what is being worn.

We have the answer! The Gray Avenger is actually color blind.

I'm reminded of the Chappelle Show skit featuring Clayton Bigsby, the blind Klan leader who wasn't aware that he was black.

Lighting plays an important role to what the colors appear to be.

Ironic that a university whose athletic program enjoys an income triple ours, appreciates the importance of the "little things", while we, who can ill afford to leave a stone unturned ignore them. We should comply with the shade of blue specified in the brand standard and we should minimize substituting other colors for gray.

Who cares what utk thinks? Now I understand why Memphis has made the changes they have- When your 3-21 you have to create recruiting tools, and having new flashy uniforms and helmets can't hurt.

When you have a couple of NCs then you can start to talk about tradition, brand standards and compliance.

As a 5-star recruit named Chad (or RopeEmUp), I would have thought that you would know the inner-workings of a recruit's mind.

I was going to do the same thing that you did in this reply. You're example is definetely BABY BLUE. I think the picture of Fuente is the correct dark blue.

Also, I'm sure that every single one of us in this discussion (but especially GA) are working on monitors that are color calibrated daily. Right?
