Let us all go to the LSU game.

We need to prove that we can sellout a game other than Memphis

Is UAB atletics still relevant ?

Or the east siders and gumps right?04-chairshot
Upper level tickets $15 at the UAB bookstore, and they each come with a free green t-shirt.

Good for them. Snoozy's will be the only place I purchase UAB gear.

It's free. You don't have to purchase it. You don't have to be concerned that your precious money will find its way into UAB's coffers. It's free.
It's as much about supporting Snoozy's as anything else. I don't feel like I owe Barnes and Noble for their support.

Who's selling the #FREE UAB FIRE RAY WATTS shirts? 'Cause it ain't B&N...
Not intending to derail the thread, but is there not a "Bartow Classic" anymore? Last year was Rutgers. This year?
I am all about supporting Snoozy's. He just sounded like refusing to shop the UAB bookstore was another form of protest. Which I don't get.

But whatever floats everyone boat. If you think it will bring football back by refusing to take free shirts at the UAB bookstore, more power to you.
I have season tickets to Basketball, so I don't need to go to Barnes and Noble to get tickets in the first place.

Snoozy's will be the only place I buy my UAB gear (outside of some one-off fan-made shirts), that's just the way I see it.
I doubt UAB can sell out LSU. Student attendance will be near zero with break.

Hell, we didn't sell out UNC last year.

Of course we won't. It's break, it's near holidays, etc. Now anybody browsing this board who wouldn't have thought much about it can point at a thread calling for a sell out and then point at what will likely be abysmal numbers and go "hurr durr they don't sahport tha shootyhoops team neither!"
I would love be there but will miss it by a few hours :(
Why do they schedule the biggest game on the schedule at the worst possible time? This game would have been a hit 2 weeks ago (even without the football fiasco).

One wonders if the schedule makers sit around singing the scarecrow song all day (if I only had a Brain).

If only there was some way to divert more money to the basketball program to assist with marketing & increasing the competitiveness of the program...

My guess is that LSU wouldn't come to Bartow when students were on campus. It's a lot less of a home advantage at any college this time of year.

Yep. Watts made a promise that none of us wanted to listen to at the time. When is that money going to the other sports? How are you going to spend that much on the programs we have left?
It's more to do with when the two teams can find an agreeable date.
Still expect to hear "fire Ray Watts". Individual curses should also come out pretty clear if it is that empty.

I promise you this was not taken into consideration when scheduling the game.
