If she leaves UC should cancel all classes for the day and hold a giant party at the student center. It would be an event worth celebrating.

The marching band should march down mainstreet through campus playing "The Witch is Dead". There would be some great parties.

The sports fans at OSU would go nuts if her name was mentioned. The big bucks at OSU would never allow a Zimpher to come there so forget it. They don't want someone that doesn't care about sports. Don

I've got a man on it.
I sent the search committee a heartfelt letter of recommendation for Nancy, saying how she is a dynamic leader and true visionary and how as an OSU alum she would be the perfect choice. I got a very nice note in response thanking me and saying they are well aware of Dr. Zimpher and she is being considered.
If and when she goes up north, drinks are on me at Clearview!

Don--you have to remember that she is an OSU ALUM...She's done her job here...Now she can go to Columbus and be welcomed as a conquering hero! Incidentally...There's NO WAY UC will be able to match the $$$$$ that OSU can fork out, so IF she's offered the job, I think she's outta here!!!!! ;-)
I made some calls on this and I hear she has in fact applied for the job. Fingers crossed...
would be the best thing ever if she moves up north. Will be the happiest day ever.
