I decided early in life to name my first born son after one of the Three Stooges. When I was a child I loved Curly. I actually wanted to be Curly when I grew up. Now, as I've grown in my tastes, I've found a new hero and like Shemp better. Yet Shemp continues to get an undeserved bad rap from bitter Curly fans. I mean Shemp didn't cause Curly's stroke! BTW -- I added Joe in the title only because he was there (at the end). Pretty sure no one likes Joe and my first born will never be a "Joe." Joe was nothing more than a bad Curly who wouldn't allow Moe to hit him. True, written in contract. Also, the future mother might not understand --- why is it that most if not all women hate the Stooges. Also, does it follow that if you're a guy who hates them than you might be gay? Thanks --

Choose between Stan and Ollie. Then flip a coin and remove the guesswork and criticisms.
Hands down, no contest, Curly wins. "Oh!!! Wise guy, huh?!?!?!? Yuck Yuck!!!"
You know Curly was better if they even named a song and dance after him, The Curly Shuffle.
I swear all my grand dad watches is Westerns, Sanford and Son, and the 3 Stooges
Personally, I'm a Biblical name guy so I vote for James Curly (Your Last Name).
Ok. it's time a girl weighed in. It's Curly.
Curly was sweet. It was very upsetting when they poked each other in the eyes and twisted noses. I felt the pain, lol.
Curly really never hurt anyone purposely.
Curly is my final answer.
Moe, Curly, Shemp. Larry was a waste of space.
do I have to choose? and yep, I looked for the choice shemp t-shirt, and all I really found was the legalize shemp one

Exactly and they (Moe, Shemp, Curly) were siblings. Curly was actually Shemp's replacement when Shemp received a nice Vaudeville offer.
And Shemp only returned at Moe's insistence and only as a temporary solution until Curly could return. Sadly, that never happened.
Curly (with a full head of hair) actually had a cameo in a Shemp episode on a train.

I don't see the problem.

Curly. The original. the only woman I know who doesn't hate the stooges in my oldest sister. She has purchased a lot of Three Stooges memorabilia over the years.
