SAGARIN RANKINGS: The current Jeff Sagarin computer rankings, which includes FBS and FCS schools, ranked No. 1 to No. 252, has the jags ranked No. 114. That puts them No. 6 among the nine schools in the state included in the rankings and No. 6 among Sun Belt Conference teams.
In state rankings, Alabama is No. 1, followed by Auburn (9), UAB (86), Jacksonville State (94), Samford (109), South Alabama (114), Troy (166), Alabama State (208) and Alabama A&M (232). In Sun Belt rankings, Georgia Southern (67) leads the way, followed by Arkansas State (79), Louisiana-Lafayette (89), Appalachian State (101), Texas State (108), South Alabama (114), Louisiana-Monroe (123), Idaho (161), Troy (166), New Mexico State (168) and Georgia State (186).
