I predict that he will be able to tolerate only two or three minutes of deafening boos until his ears are ringing and is escorted out by his entourage. Bring your decibel meter. He won't show up for the second session. He more than deserves to be ousted and particularly in that manner. Give 'em hell, Blazer faithful.
Please give this POS a hard time tomorrow. Now is a great chance seniors!
Let the graduates make the call. It's their day and it leaves the alumni out of it. I dislike the man with a passion, but if it's anyone but the graduates on the floor that cause a disturbance then it doesn't look good for the cause.
But what ever they do decide to do should be met with a sounding applause and show of support.
Treat Watts like this Bozo and set the guiness record for loudest booing,I'll be booing in spirit tomorrow...................

I'm surprised by this decision. I'm looking forward to the YouTube videos.
Some people walking tomorrow are pleading with people not to make a scene at the graduation. I guess they always want to remember a very quiet, long, boring, uncomfortable ceremony.

I hope the majority of the graduates show some passion and boo Watts loud and proud. There were talks of just turning around and not facing him when he talks. Many people won't shake his hand. I personally am rooting for them to cause a scene, which I think will be pinned on Watts for being a liability who can't even make basic public appearances anymore.
I can understand some not wanting a scene. That said, he's attempting to destroy the place they have their degree from. The choice is theirs though. I'm sure the graduating athletes will not look favorably on him.
I hope Watts scolds the booing audience for making too much noise while he's talking like he did with the football team.
I really don't know what will happened.

I don't want anyone to feel their graduation is being marred, but I hope, no matter what is done, that they do it unison. Him showing up with his armed escort and having a very public failing would advance our cause to uproot him, though. Still, this is a day for the graduates. If they want to peacefully celebrate their accomplishment then that's cool. If they decide to boo until he leaves, then that's cool, too.

Out of all due respect for Seniors and for UAB, I am in sincere hopes that another member of UABs Administrative Staff, perhaps Provost Linda Lucas, Ph.D is prepared to step forward and perform the ceremony in place of Watts.
Attendees
1. Be respectful of others. There are those who have worked hard for this day and they will have friends and family there. It is their day. Don't embarrass them.
2. Graduates, if you so choose, find a way to personally let Watts know how you feel. By not shaking hands, turning your back on him, giving him a football instead of shaking his hand, make your protest personal.
3. Don't get arrested. The security there will be overwhelming and they will be looking to make an example of someone who overreacts. Don't let it be you. Getting arrested won't bring football back, is expensive and will follow you the rest of your life.
Are there any football players graduating?

I agree with Memphis. Be there to applaude and show support, but let the graduates make the move. If Ray sics the cops on young graduates then it looks worse on him, then some yahoo in the stands causing a ruckus.

He doesn't have to answer questions...

And I hope someone gets THAT on video if it happens. Evil old man has students arrested on their graduation day. His PR firm will resign.
Tim Alexander walks tomorrow. That should be interesting.
