Transferring to Towson from The U. Just a comment- check out this guy's wrap sheet- safe to say he was afforded a lot of advantages and has managed to screw it up. I wonder if there will be an outcry by the media on this or if fans will refer to him as a "thug"- just food for thought if you get what I am saying.

More proof that Ambrose and Towson will take anybody.
FCS schools can afford to take chances on guys with off the field issues and sometimes they pan out (Randy Moss)

Its one thing for a WR to be a knucklehead but your QB as your leader needs to have his head on straight.

Agreed. Ambrose is usually a stickler for discipline. Sat out t-west multiple times even when we really needed him. Brian Dowling (Sr WR) went to Olsen's high school and had a hand in his transfering to Towson
What a tool. Tomorrow's leaders? Pretty bad when you take a kid that got kicked out of the U to be your QB. Hope he & Ambrose become buds.
His father was a successful, but controversial coach in North Jersey for years.

*Sniff...smells like somebody is race baiting.

My personal opinion? This kid is going to be the one to make or break Ambrose. He has to prove he can do something without West and this is a last ditch effort to put out a winning product sans TWest...luckily there isn't much going on in Baltimore for him to get into trouble with. Oh wait, nevermind, it's a city full of distractions.
A perfect match for Ambrose. I won't be surprised when Towson is on the ticker with some bad publicity next year when the next incident occurs.

There are just too many players available to waste time on the ones that have ruined it for themselves multiple times. He should be playing JUCO somewhere in BFE.
Lol race baiting? Are you the one that was offended by the term butt hurt?

Ha! Not a chance I'm offended by butt hurt or almsot anything, I was referring to this comment:

"I wonder if there will be an outcry by the media on this or if fans will refer to him as a "thug"- just food for thought if you get what I am saying."

I think the original poster was implying that he won't be called a thug/demonized that way even though he was dismissed for thugish reasons because he's white. In fact, I remember a very heated debate on the old zone about the term punk vs. thug between some posters.
He's a drunk, far cry from a thug.

And he's a far cry from a "drunk". Did you read that article? He's what most anyone, most anywhere else, would call a multiple felon. A thug? I don't know, can only go by what I read and the comments that followed.

At what point does he become a "thug"? When he kills himself, or someone else? I'll reserve that for when he gets his first illegal possession of a firearm charge/conviction. This has Marcus Vick written ALLL over it.
Baltimore should be a good influence on this kid. Ha
Kk, good. Butthurt is a great term to be used by all

Just don't get butthurt over people getting butthurt because they're offended by the term butthurt....butthurt.
Honestly, it's not worth talking about a school accepting "thugs" because every school has them. This is a kid we're talking about. They all deserve second chances. I'm glad he has a chance to make up for his past mistakes. It just sucks that he was to get beat by JMU for the next 3 years.

Ha, I was going to say the same thing. Thugs bully people and beat people up. This is a punk kid who gets intoxicated and runs into stuff in a car. That's not a thug.

Everybody makes mistakes but technically this is a 4th chance, not a 2nd.

Yea, and he is a legend in his hometown for his exploits and what his family/community allowed to be swept under the rug. Really pretty incredible.
