Got text that said Clark defensive coordinator according to Auburn 24-7, don't know if valid
Since most of us expect UAB to not play football next year regardless of how this shakes out, taking an in-state coordinator position keeps him in the best possible place to return without missing much in terms of recruiting (granted, it would be a total rebuilding job and that coach would be the 2nd father of UAB football). And if by some miracle we do play football next year , nobody would fault him for taking a head coaching job.
Seeing it on the Auburn side too. Announement at 12.

You really think he'd come back?
I'm now an auburn fan when they play uat
If it's true they are sure trashing Clark. Ungrateful bastards. I hope he does well but it will be a cold day in hell before I root for an SEC team.
Most Auburn fans I've read anything from have their hearts set on Muschamp.

I would like to kiss you.
He would be smart to take a lower-level head coaching position somewhere else. Auburn has been a grave yard for respected D coordinators recently. Hope he will do well if that's his choice
Guess I'll have to get a green and gold AU......
NAH!! I'll root for them when they play uat
For the last couple of days I've been thinking they BoT won't backdown until Clark is gone. Once Clark and most of the players leave they will be like mea culpa and bring back a gutted program. Jr gets to kick UAB on his way out the door, and UAB gets to keep football. Win-Win(but UAB really loses)
Clark is a good man and I will root for him to beat Paul Bryant jr's baby. Uab and the alabama system betrayed him. The honorable thing for us to do is support him. Paul think of it as rooting against UAT not for a sec team when au plays uat
I'm an Auburn fan as long as he's there

Tough call whether a DC position in the SEC is better than a head coaching position at a lower level.

No he wants it dead. We have to gain independence or wait for the old bastard to die
DC at Auburn is better. 2-3 years, decent defenses, maybe a national championship and he'll be in line for a decent cartel head coaching job
I did not attend Auburn, I did not graduate from Auburn. I wish Clark well but I will not be paying any attention should he coach elsewhere. I have absolutely zero interest in college football of any sort until UAB has its team back.
Shut.
Gumps.
Out.

I agree!
Agree with 58-56. Oh and I'm only kissing my smokin hot blonde wife.
