Offer now made and accepted, UAB's Vincent becomes offensive coordinator at South Alabama

This is what Watts wants. He wants to wait it out where the team will be destroyed. We need someone to step in and overturn this thing.
I am coming to despise that man.
I thought Cornelius Williams already accepted a position at Troy?
Damn it
This and the article on developments dependent upon UAB enrollment numbers bring only joy to the BOT's leadership. Crippling nonmedical UAB AND the city of B'ham would be the perfect payoff for their manipulations. These leaders apparently see midTwentieth century Alabama as being the perfect way to keep things in this state. Will voters continue to support their vision?

Yup, rawhl tyde!!!
If this thing reverses course maybe there's a slim chance he'll reconsider in the not so distant future. Somebody in Montgomery and/or the BOT should be makings some kind of statement. This thing is way too big to be this silent from both groups. Considering fact that the third largest university in the state is in chaos.

The biggest thing is keeping Coach Clark. I trust his judgement in finding any replacements to his staff completely. With Clark at the helm, I think we slip some, but not as far as the BOT wants us to. If we lose Clark, then the rebuild begins from scratch and it will take years to recover.

I agree. I think silver lining in that fact is his contract is $500,000 a year and that hopefully will allow him to hold on a little while we sort out this inside debacle.
He is hanging in there.

+1 - his vision is UAB of 40yrs ago living in the past just like those down the road do. When it's over we'll be starting all over again
Clark is gone, man. We've got to start focusing on the future. I hate to say it, but someone big is going to scoop him up.
