Yep. If it's about money, there is your damn money. Now tell us what it's really about?
And the $15M is only the beginning. The $49M facility figure that Watts uses is over 5 years. I'm confident we could use that over 5 years. Not to mention finally having new facilities would pay off in recruiting, make the team better, generate wins, generate more fan support, etc.
Part of that $49mil is facilities that we were paying for and not costing UAB one single dime. That $49 mil is a farce.
Since the $49M number was bogus anyway, even more money is available...
Have we even spent 49 million dollars total on the football program since its inception? I'm like Damn how are you going to make those projections with a straight face.
We have nothing except the locker rooms (Money was donated) that when you take the signs down that would ever tell you we had football.
