I'm sure that was done to keep her quiet but I hope the put a fox in the hen house. They are also paying her to be a member of the university honors program advisory board.
interesting
well she was wronged by the BOT. I bet she could document it as well. Maybe the SACS complaint begins and ends with her?
That puts Dr. G in the perfect spot to be leveraged by a higher up or at minimum, be embarrassed and lose face in the process.

That leaves her choices at CYA or lose everything in an investigation. She should recuse herself from the process.
That is very interesting.
So basically what will happen is, if things are still nuts on campus during SACS review in January, Garrison will be stuck in a Catch-22, where she'll either have to lie on her review, saying "everything is fine", or she'll have to go against the Board and tell the truth...

This. I can't get the images of her begging protestors to put up their signs at board meetings at the alumni house and trying to shoot down Brad's inspiring speech to the scumbags after they sabotaged the OCS proposal. I'm all for recusal. She may love UAB with all her heart but when it comes to standing up to people like this, not sure if she's got the chops to do it.
In keeping with the request of the SACS Letter Thread, I'm preparing a package to send their way, in doing so, for those of you here that are also taking this on, I respectully suggest sending whatever it is you are going to send by certified mail and use that tracking feature the post office has, can't remember exactly what it's called, but whatever you can do to at least eliminate the "we never got it in the mail" excuse, please do so, and given the ample time needed for your mail to reach their destination, do a follow up and find out if and when they indeed got your inquiry.
She could say - here might be something interesting although I personally have never seen it before.
