1. MWC 74.17 avg rank
2. AAC 84.27
3. CUSA 87.00
4. MAC 97.77
5. SBC 99.55

Using the formula of $1M for every team as the base (cap at 12), then $6M for the conference that sends a team to the Access Bowl, and the 5-4-3-2-1 units distribution, the performance bonus payouts would be something like this:

1. MWC $27.42M ($12M base, $5.42M ranking, $6M AB)
2. AAC $15.33M
3. CUSA $15.25M
4. MAC $14.17M
5. SBC $12.08M

Add to that the $300K per school each conference would get for meeting APR goals and the Access Bowl payout to the MWC, and they end up around $31M total.

Compared to the $3M or so each of the G5 used to get under the BCS, this is a huge win, except for the AAC, who takes a huge pay cut from the $27M they got last year as an AQ.
I know it's not a big deal and it's the internet, but it's irking me--can you fix the spelling of "probable" in the thread title :)
Okay, that aside---it's interesting the CUSA is A LOT closer to the AAC than it is to the MAC and Sun Belt.

True, but it is cyclical. I can't remember the numbers exactly, but I don't think CUSA fared as well last year. Hopefully it is the beginning of an upward trend.
