FSU is indeed TV Gold... however, for the ACC TV Contract as a whole to be undervalued, some games NOT involving the Seminoles need to crack the top of the ratings. I'm pointing at VT as much as any other team. All of the highest-rated ACC games this year featured FSU vs. [fill-in-the-blank]. That is a very precarious position for the league to be in, and it really boils down to one simple fact: no other ACC team has been in contention for the national championship in recent years. That has to change if we want the ACC to get a TV contract like the SEC has.

It looks as if Florida State and Alabama have controlled TV this year.
But where are the B1G, Big 12 or PAC?

BTW it's great that so many were tuned in to see the FSU-Ga. Tech game, it was a great show and a super football game.
The hyped to oblivion Iron Bowl only got 3rd?

True, but the other FSU matchups did not do as well.

Do as well as what?

FSU had 3 or 4 of the highest rated games of the season.

What point are you trying to make?
Now on ACCFootballRx: TV Ratings, 2014 Regular Season

Yes, FSU and Bama dominated.

Quote:All of the top ACC games involved Florida State. In fact, the 8 highest-rated ACC football games all featured the Seminoles. Compare that to the SEC, where the 4 highest-rated games all involved Alabama (SEC game #5 was Texas A&M vs. Auburn).

It would be interesting to see what the ratings would be for the Iron Bowl if it were on ABC.
