Full Version: Well, at least, we didn't blow a 6 point lead in the last minute

We started the game, cold as ice, then played a team from a conference that includes UConn, Memphis, Cincinnati, etc. even, after falling down by 8-0. We only had 5 turnovers and hit almost 50% from 3 and 80% from the line. Nothing to be ashamed of. Not like we have a home crowd advantage. Tulsa is a better team, from a better conference (Big East leftovers plus everybody good from ConUSA). We will be fine in the conference.
Trojans were badly out-maned inside and rather badly out-rebounded. I was curious why Gus Leeper didn't play more. As I recall he was in the game only once and for short period of time.

I'm confused, you say CUSA is a better conference, but the other day you said "Conference USA lost everyone of consequence and is basically the Sun Belt 2.0. Last year the Sun Belt clearly did better in head to head matchups and in the bowl games. If the Sun Belt would just add New Mexico State , and then maybe UAB, there would be little to no difference in basketball either."

See why I'm confused?

Tulsa is in the new AAC which is the football schools form the Big East.
I told you I was confused, I thought Tulsa was in CUSA. I remember Memphis leaving, but I thought Tulsa was in CUSA. My bad Mickey. Maybe confused was the wrong word, perhaps dumb ass would have been more appropriate.
There was a ton of movement

Definitely not dumb***. I had to double-check it myself. I was pretty sure they left ConUSA along with Memphis, Houston, etc. to go to the American Athletic Conference with UConn, Cincinnati, etc. from the old Big East. But like I said, I had to check to be sure. I assume their recruit will go up a notch by being in the conference. Not sure it has kicked in yet, but they looked pretty talented to me.
