Hate what happened to their program.
On ESPN today, they said the Birmingham airport looked like a coaches convention.
I'm so depressed about what's happening to them. That could of been us too.
There were "fans" on this board that WANTED that to happen to our program!!!! That or move to FCS or whatever they call 1AA these days!!!
We were very lucky that CJF took over our program

True, but there has always been a segment of Memphis that has wanted that since the 80's. The program somehow has survived through the sometimes very rough years.

I'm sure they are looking at Clements, their 2000 yard QB, and the running back. Other than that, I think the cupboard's pretty bare. Maybe a role player or two.

You don't have a 2000 yd. QB without a couple of linemen that allow him time to be a 2000 yd. QB. That would be my hope.

Sorry, I don't know how to link to a TV show. There was a segment on UAB football on gameday.
Rb is very good. They must have a couple good linemen with ~2850 yards rushing.
Absolute shame what's going on at UAB. People in a position of power that could care less about the school or the players...allegiances with the school 60 miles southwest. Scum bags if you ask me...

Agreed. I think Memphis would be a nice landing spot for some of them. They could come be a part of a program on the upswing. A real chance to start over. Shame that it came to this.
