Since Watts wants to say it was about numbers....A GOOD LEADER would have held a presser or reached out to students, alumni society, the new football foundation, local businesses, the city, etc etc after getting study results and said, hey we have a shortfall and need to make up this difference and we need your help before I'm forced to shut these programs down. Thats what a real leader would have done, but to make the decision himself without involving anyone related and involved in it and had a vested interest is just asinine. THAT is where the questions need to focus to get to the bottom of who is to blame for this. He said that it was a "campus wide study", I want names of those who was involved in NOT COLLECTING the data, but who ACTIVELY SPOKE OUT on this action to shut these down specifically. where are the meeting minutes? full disclosure must be demanded by our local media...after all it is a State funded institution and by law it must exist if I understand it correctly!
