Memphis looks like a BAD basketball team this year. I expect them to finish in the bottom half

Pending progression. No need to make an absolute statement about the season yet.

That's why I said "looks like" and "expect" instead of "is" and "will". Fwiw, I hope Pastner is the guru and prodigy he was billed as and turns it around to finish top 3 in the AAC. I just don't believe he will
Would like to go 2-2 today, hopefully wins from temple and tulsa. I'm kinda surprised we are favored, but I expect us to win.
Good chance for a road win for the Pirates.
ECU really needs to find a way to win this one.

There's no more than 50-75 teams that I would feel extremely confident of Tulane winning against, on the road. And Loyola-Chicago isn't one of them.

Even so, I think that *IF* we're playing well (by our own very, VERY modest standards), this is definitely a winnable game.

As a UC fan I hate Loyola-Chicago for upsetting the Bearcats in the NCG in 1963. The Bearcats would have won three NC's in a row and had no business losing that game. Kick their arse Tulane!
Loyola (IL) is 4-1 this year - and should have an RPI that hovers around 100.

This is a vital game to win for Tulane. I know they're 7.5 point dogs, but these are the tricky mid-major opponents that you need to beat if you're Conroy. I have doubts, but anything's possible.
34-22 St Joes leads Temple at the half... Awful

I actually think we will be a tough team to beat come AAC tournament time. The growing pains will probably leave us out of the dance.
58-56 St. Joes over Temple. Ughhhhh
Dunphy is over-matched. His recruiting deficiencies are showing. It's time to get McKie ready to take over.
This AAC basketball season is starting like the AAC football season started.

Some of these are just brutal losses.

It's a bad league this year. We are doing are part to crap the bed. Next year should be different for a lot of teams.
ECU loses to FAU 72-63. Never thought this team would be this bad!

FAU beat ECU by 11 last year, so not sure what you mean by ECU being this bad because they lost to FAU by 9. If anything, things are looking better.
On the brightside ECU has alternated wins and loses this season, and we play UNC on Sunday.
sigh
