Fantastic work Kevin. I truly apologize for any comments I've made against you in the past.
Quote:His unpresidential "that's BS" denials aside, he comes across as little more than the errand boy for the assassins on the University of Alabama System Board of Trustees. It's hard to tell which will send Paul Bryant Jr. into trustee retirement with a bigger smile, another national title for his beloved Crimson Tide or the death of UAB football.
And of course the gumps are out in fine fashion demonstrating their two-fingered typing skills...
We could have used a lot of local media to go off the last few years.

Outside of Scarbinsky, most haven't come close to doing anything worthwhile.

Archibald, Kyle, & Matt Murphy have stepped up for us.

You're right. We need to blow this up with positive comments!
I appreciate Scarbinsky's continued efforts and his wisdom to see through the garbage that Watts and the BOT spew. Too many people are quick to accept pathetic attempts to justify this decision. Scarbinsky isn't fooled. The unfortunate thing is that this state is so filled with corruption that any fight against the machine is often unsuccessful. I hope we as fans continue to grow and continue to push forward.

Now it is clear, if it wasn't before, that men's basketball is our driving sport. We need to support it with all that we've got. I understand people having reservations about financial giving to UAB, but we need to support the sports teams that we currently have-- men's basketball chief among them. That is a sport where through our success we can force the issue with regard to football. Now is not the time for giving up.
They turned down money for football, I wonder if they'll turn it away for basketball? We can still supposedly support them & not give a dime to the university but how long till they say nothing for athletics only the university due to the balance sheet economics???
Hey look, creoleman is on there celebrating.

I hope something very bad happens to him. Really.
The guys on the Zone have been very much on our side in these last weeks. They've all been in this market long enough to know what goes on. So did Archibald and Jon Solomon, same is true. Kyle Whitmire. Brando got in on it. Scarbinsky has been very solid. Raita has not always been kind to UAB, but he's the one who said that "if he were a UAB fan he'd fire Mackin and Watts" a week and a half ago. Wish it was that easy.

We've gotten good support from the press. It's just that PBJ does not give have any more respect for the opinion of the press than he does anyone else's.

He got what he wanted and he just don't care.

I'll not give one red cent just to see them use it to rip the hearts out of us a second time. Until the BOT makeup is changed we have lost all hope here.
If the Foundation stays together, my money goes there instead of UAB.

I have commissioned a 9 page finanical exploration of UAB (by Doktyr X and Associates) and found that UAB in it's current state, would not be a good steward of my donations. I am just following the recomendations of of the report.
