Imagine there is a CFP-style committee that votes for a conference champ, and that you're on it.

Who gets your vote, and why?

Iowa, because I like their uniforms.

Wait! No, Indiana, because I have a brother that went to school there or taught there or something. Yeah, Indiana.

Well, obviously MSU doesn't deserve it and obviously the most deserving would be the team that actually wins the Championship Game. That is the point of having that game.

Maybe the best decision ever made at Iowa was to emulate the Pittsburgh Steelers colors. Merchandise sales based upon that color combination is why the Iowa Athletic Department ranks so high in monetary earnings nationwide. The Black and Gold Faithful love to wear their black and gold.

Whoever wins this Saturday.

But as of now w/o the CCG, Ohio State...no question.

Officially I'll say the winner. However, I still hate conference championship games and think set-ups where the team(s) with the best record are called champ(s) are called champ. That position has nothing to do with Ohio State's current ranking and everything to do with the fact I just like the old set-up.

That said, the bigger the conference, the less that works and 14 is getting very big.

I figure OSU will get the best television ratings in the playoff, so I vote for them.
