I do like the line "al.com analysis of the USA Today article" It means they read the article and wrote an column about the article.

I like it. Bare it on the table. Auburn "losing" money is shocking to me, but considering that several million of the cost is "tuition", nobody is afraid these schools are going broke paying themselves.

This article buttresses the argument I've made for years. Take a look around. UAB is a helluva lot closer to normal than the $EC schools in this state.

A business investment such as our athletic program can not be successful without even giving it a chance. Doomed from the start. Put shitt in you get shitt out.

UAB produces a lot of revenue for the UofA system and for the city and the state.

The BOT needs to step back and let UAB athletics sink or swim on it's own, without interference. If they shut the program down, then we need a lot of legislative support (which I think is there) to help separate from the system or divide the BOT equally.

Just think our new OCS would have been ready for next year, maybe the year after.
