If you can make it, please make it. I've already asked off work and will be taking a half day to attend.

Wear UAB gear, brings signs!

To be clear this is a student-athlete led initiative and this comes directly from student-athletes.

These are the future leaders putting legs on those prayers.
Make it a full-blown sit in. Students need to encourage faculty to cancel classes and encourage every student to attend. Faculty should join the fray. They need to realize this will just be the beginning of attacks on the academic side of campus.
This is history in the making, folks.
Good luck today! Wish I could be there.
People are gathering at the Green.
They can hear the protesters through the walls throughout the building. "We want Watts".
Nice, anytime I had a concern at UAB Garrison would respond. This is crazy.
We need more people. We're not leaving.
The band is on the way down. So is food and water. Drums on 20th street ought to be hard to ignore. The cool plan is to stay. Put it on facebook. We need bodies and voices here.
Do not end the protest, once it ends they win.
With Watts out of town, and the crowd chanting "We Want Watts", what is the end game? Folks going to camp out?
Watts is back in town this morning, right?
Where does Little Baaaarrrr live? Time for a march on his house.

I am coming by on my abbreviated lunch break. Damn, I miss the days when you used to get an hour for lunch. All we get here are 30 (bleeping) minutes! But, I'm about 3 blocks from the protest site, so I'll be footing it there around 1:30.
