Going into yesterday's games there were 4 one loss teams with just about equal claim to the 4th playoff spot. Any decision made by the committee would have led to fury and outrage. The top 3 are set, if those teams win their conference championship games. With Mississippi State losing and Ohio State losing their quarterback, it's now down to TCU and Baylor for the 4th spot. TCU has the better resume, buy Baylor beat them on the field so it's hard to imagine that won't be the deciding factor. If one of the top 3 lose, they both get in (or would the committee take an Ohio State team who just lost their star quarterback). If all goes as expected, except Baylor losing to Kansas State, the committee will end up with little or no controversy at all.
