I always have. But I like Urban Meyer.
I think everyone outside of the state of Ohio has a hatred for Ohio State. Their fanbase is a strange bunch, too.
1990 Liberty Bowl..they all acted like dicks. Team and coaches included.

they lost that game to..... Air Force.

wanna know why they hate the SEC so bad

0-10 in bowl games vs the SEC. they thought they had a win vs ark but had to vacate it for cheating. 03-lmfao it burns them to the core.

lost this game too, one of their 2 bowl losses to clemson. yep, clemson

Slohio?

Such a silly statement.

The school of Eddie George, Cris Carter, Joey Galloway, Ted Ginn, Santonio Holmes...

In the 2014 season "slohio" has 53 NFL players on a roster, behind only USC (57) LSU (54) and Bama (54). Such a huge difference.

Per Herbstreit...OSU alum...you should only look at their big win tonight over a good Wisconsin team, and maybe their 12 point win at a good Michigan State team.

But...and OSU is a good team...if considering elite teams and making comparisons...unless the last big win alone is simply more than those with no memories can stand:

OSU best win was 7 Michigan State
Beat 2 currently ranked teams
Beat 4 teams receiving AP poll votes, including a team with one vote
Lost at home to VTech
Close wins over Penn State, Indiana, Michigan
Beat Minnesota 31-24

TCU best win was 9 KState...which will slip a little
Beat 2 currently ranked teams
Beat 3 teams receiving AP votes
Lost at highly ranked Baylor
Close wins over WV, KS and OU
Beat Minnesota 30-7

If it is all judged based on the Wisconsin game, then OSU. If it is based on the season...TCU. OSU lost their QB before the VT game...but FSU round a way to win a much better Clemson team without a much better Winston.

Baylor deserves more than either of the above.
Best win over 4 TCU
Beat 3 currently ranked teams.
Beat 3 teams with votes
Lost at WV
Close wins over TCU and TX Tech

Not close really between Baylor and either of the other two.

Baylor beat TCU, KState, Oklahoma
OSU beat Wisconsin, Mich State and Minnesota

Both really good teams...clear edge to Baylor.
Ohio State should be one of the four. If they get the chance the are gonna lose another bowl to the SEC. ohio state fans will be apoplectic, dis gonna be good

I think that is exactly the trick bag the group put themselves in. At some point they said they want the "four best." But they did a poor job of quantifying that. Most deserving or eye test best right now. Different analysis yields different results.
Regardless of whether OSU gets in or not, I think the Playoff system worked this year.

If the old system were in use this year, I think the match up would be Alabama and FSU in the BCS championship game. Does the nation really think FSU is the first or second best team in the country? I personally don't. But no way would a time with an unbeaten record be left out.

The biggest winner of the Playoff System this year is clearly Oregon who would be playing for third in the polls at best in the old system. Now they have a chance to win it all.

To summarize, I would rather argue about who is the fourth and fifth best team in this system than argue about who is the second and third best team in the old one.
Ohio State gonna get their wish. Big Ten gets to show the SEC they are overated.
I thought they should just use the BCS system & take four instead of two. The four they took are also the top four under a simulated BCS calculation. So while disappointed Baylor did not get in I'm not feeling ripped off. I still don't like the playoff committee concept much.

I don't think Ohio State has much of a chance. Not sure Baylor would have much chance either but it would have been interesting to see our spread against the Alabama defense. It would not have been any fun to see our pass defense against Mr. Cooper.
