Cajuns at 8-4 overall and 7-1 in conference seem a lock for the New Orleans bowl.

So, who else goes and where?

South Alabama 6-6 and 5-3
Arkansas State 7-5 and 5-3
Texas State 7-5 and 5-3
My guess:

Texas State to Mobile
Arkansas State to Montgomery
South Alabama stays home.

I've heard some rumors that Mobile businesses do not want South playing in Go Daddy because they'd lose a lot of tourism dollars.

Loss of tourism dollars could certainly be a consideration though one would think there'd be a lot of game tickets sold if S. Alabama was featured. Then again, I don't think the Jaguars did themselves any favors with some of their crappy attendance totals.

Mobile sells out every year, regardless of opponent. What it comes down to ultimately is how many of those dollars come from visiting teams, and how many come from local fans.
UL - Go Daddy
stAte - Camellia
Texas State - New Orleans
Just posted on this topic - the bowl breakdown shows the national picture. Getting tight!
I'm gonna say all 4 go bowling.
Louisiana to New Orleans
stAte to Camellia
USA to Go daddy

And Texas State to Armed Forces

While TXST would be a good choice there will probably be "p5" teams looking for a bowl. SEC has 12 bowl eligible teams for example, so my guess is an extra p5 team to afb. ACC and b10 could also have extra teams.
Too many teams that needed to lose to help set up some "at large" bids won so I'm starting to worry about bobcats Armed Forces chances
As I said at this moment the SEC, ACC, and B10 could all potentially have a team looking for a home.

SEC has 12 BE teams

ACC could have 12 BE teams with ND if Pitt wins (they're leading Miami now)

B10 could also have an extra team if they don't get anyone in playoffs.

Seriously doubt any g5 teams get any extra spots

I think USA will draw but I doubt they do any great business with ticket office. There are thousands of tickets floating around with sponsors that typically end with youth groups and such that will land with USA fans.

It'll be a good crowd but sales may not reflect it.

USA deserves a Bowl as much or more than a 6-6 CUSA or MAC team but I am not sure they will get their shot.

I was looking at it just right now. Once you account for all the selection committee bowls there will only be one extra team from the P5 conferences. This is assuming they all send 2 teams each with the SEC sending 3 teams.

You're right. Could only be one team. Also could be 2 depending on how many they get in playoffs. Problem is there may only be 2 or 3 bowls looking for teams and not only do you have 1 or 2 p5 teams looking for a bowl, you also have 1 AAC team (Temple), 2 CUSA teams (MT and UAB), 1 MAC team (Ohio), and 1 Sun Belt team looking for a bowl. 4-5 Teams WILL be left out, and I hate to say it but unfortunately one of the will be a sbc team.
Well USA, since yall are going to C-USA, might as well let us have that bowl game...

Doesn't look like you have to worry about UAB looking for a bowl game anymore.

Troy gets a pass in light of everything that's happened this season, but we need NMSU and Idaho to step up. Georgia State continues to baffle me. I still think there's loads of potential, but perhaps Miles isn't the perfect fit and Cobb should look elsewhere if there are no signs of improvement next season
