Granted - we've won national titles before.
I just really like the feeling of beating FAU in football to get to 6-6 and bowl eligibility and beating VCU soon after when they are ranked.
It's definitely up there for me.
But number 1? I don't know.
Tough to top an NCAA tourney win, especially in 3 ot.
Its certainly near the top, but the CAA Championships over VCU were great, and the Villanova win was awesome. The day we first beat JMU in football was huge too. But yes, its got to be somewhere in my top 5 best days to be a Monarch.
Not sure if it is the best. We'll see what becomes of the VCU win. They really didn't look very good to me outside of Graham. However, if they make some noise in the A10, and we get a bid due to this win, it'll be even better.
Let's hope that some P5 schools turn down some low level Bowl games to open the door for us. If that happens, today's win moves up another notch.
In my opinion after near arrest in the VIP it's one of the bet days as a Monarch Fan !
Not best. We've won bigger, more important football and basketball games.
But absolutely one of the most fun. The best part is these kind of Novembers are the new normal
It is one of those Historic Monarch Days. It will certainly go down in history as the day the basketball team made the statement it was back and the football team with 6 wins and bowl eligibility made the statement that it belonged in the FBS.
We've won bigger football games and bigger basketball games - the point being we haven't had a big football win and big basketball game happen within the same hour.

We shred 14th ranked VCU for most of the game.
Sell out on National TV while 1,500 (or so) travel to Boca.
I started following ODU when Twardzick was a soph. which was a long time ago. We have had great days, maybe if I thought enough (and could still remember EVERYTHING, maybe 1 this good. But all that said this day feels like the best one for today.
But what makes me really happy is the feeling even BETTER DAYS are ahead.
