Or did they carry Josh to the success he has enjoyed?

It is starting to look like they carried Josh
3 games in, no doubt

Of course we've got a brand new team who hasn't had time to gel yet and hardly practiced together.

But we still suck early on this year.

Yes or no to what? Are they overrated or did they carry us?

Both may be true.

We can't really tell after just 3 games doe.

We essentially returned Wesley Witherspoon and Will Coleman during that first class.

7 out of our top 9 were newcomers and we started that season 7-0 with wins over Miami and LSU. Did that team not need time to gel? Or did they just go out and out TALENT the opponents.

I seem to remember that team getting destroyed at Tenn and UTEP. Spoon and Will were the first of many to get thrown under the bus. I remember hearing "wait until Adonis gets here he's the glue guy that this team needs"

That LSU team lost 21 games, bro. Miami was an NIT team.

Not much to brag about there.
Well, maybe but Will Barton left after 2 years.
No, Josh is-

Point is this team is not going to be anywhere near as successful as that first team...

We just got rolled to a likely NIT team missing their starting point guard.
The top 5 recruiting classes that year were in no particular order: Kentucky, Memphis, Ohio St, UNC and Syracuse. All those classes made at least 1 elite 8....... Except ONE

Time will tell the tale this season. We are all pissed and rightfully so.

It is possible for them to turn it around because I see the individual talent. I also see that anytime a team runs a high screen on our defense we look like we have no idea how to recover...Someone is always open and if a team decides to get physical we fold and complain. This has not changed since Pastner has been here.

With a win tonight they could end up 11-0 OOC and then a 500 conference record would get then in the dance.

They will not be rewarded for cupcake city outside of conference... unless we turn it around they will get slammed for that schedule
