Somewhat true...Somewhat fed by arrogance.

I don't see any arrogance
Really glad that CDR helped the Grizz sellout their game tonight.

Thanks to Tiger & CDR fans for coming out!!

I love CDR, but he had nothing to do with the sellout. This was a game against a heated rivalry and the Grizz are the best team in the NBA. That's why it was sold out.

Truth. This is about the Grizzlies.
Cdr plays for the clips?
So, we don't like CDR now?
I like CDR but I had no idea he played for the Clippers.

The Grizzlies are a hotter ticket than the Tigers now. If the grizzlies had team full of former tigers and a losing record then trust me that game would not have sold out.

Sounds like something for everyone in that statement.

Yes and No.
Calipari is irrelevant to our program now. Any guess as to what the "something in house" he refers to could be, other than the coach?

Pretty obvious he's ether referring to the coach, or the fan's expectations on the coach.
he's correct.
Fans were spoiled by the last few years of Cal. And how could you not love CDR, AA, Joey, and Dozier, then add Rose. It was heady times. I really wanted Pastner to do well. He stands for so much that is good and right and kind. But that does not necessarily translate into a good coach.

Pretty obvious he is referring to a "desire to win" attitude that is absent in the locker room. Even you are smart enough to know that. Even without a coach, that group is capable of beating CBU 9 times out of 10.

The heart of the leaders of this team is not there - whoever "they" are.

Does that eventually fall on the coaches - specifically the head coach? Probably. But you can't teach heart. You've either got it, or you don't.

Whatever the issue, we will find out by the end of the year if Coach Pastner can right the ship.

So does this mean we can stop blaming Joe and Tarik?
If you read all of the quotes he explained that it started from the top to the bottom, coaches and players have to look in the mirror. I've played sports and the one thing that I remember from those days is that when I faced a player that had heart, I knew that I was in for a battle. Do you think that a coach actually instilled in MJ, or Koby, or KG, or Charles Barkley heart? That's something that you either have or you don't

If I'm going to be critical of coach it would be that he's consistently recruiting guys that are talented, but are not bulldogs. I remember watching the movie Ali, and he was reflecting that the man across from him would have to kill him, before he would allow him to defeat him. We have a guy on our team that is probably thinking about beats instead of beating someone. I'm on coaches side, but EVERYONE that has something to do with the team need to face themselves 1st.
